Objectives: This class will cover basic JDE setup and EnterpriseOne Security concepts, based on the 9.2 Applications release. After completing this course you will be able to do basic JDE E1 security functions including: user/role creation; application, action code, row, column, processing options and data selection security maintenance; maintenance of favorites and fast path as well as running security reports.

About the Instructor
The instructor is a seasoned IT professional with over 30 years' experience in business analysis, systems analysis and design, implementation of large and complex systems and project management. Her experience with JD Edwards covers World and E1, having provided technical and application support for the Financial, Distribution, Property Management, Payroll and HCM modules. She has set up and maintained system wide security for both World and E1.

An overview of the concepts and system administration of EnterpriseOne, based on the 9.2 Applications release. After completing this course you will be able to do basic systems administration including package builds, security changes, batch job setup, OCM changes, data dictionary additions, INI file changes, and troubleshooting.
You'll learn how to create simple to moderately complex interactive JDE applications. We'll cover topics that will allow you to understand the architecture of applications, all the objects involved, and the tools that are used in the development of interactive applications. The concluding exercise combines and reinforces all the major topics learned.
Upon competing this class you will be able to understand how to create, test, modify and debug business functions and create interactive applications that interact with a master business function and cache. We'll cover more advanced development concepts such as Business Function Overview, Data Structures Design Aid, Create and Code C Business Function, Create and Code NER Business Function, Debugging C Code, Power Form & Subforms, Cache, and Master Business Functions.
