Objectives: In this course you will learn how to accurately cost and account for various cost components, learn how to reconcile the WIP clearing account, book variances by product to support product profitability analysis, sort out sources of variances, and automatically account for non-standard production activities such as rework, teardowns, and R&D pilot runs. The course also covers Actual Costing for manufacturing.
Prerequisites: Basic knowledge of JD Edwards E1 Navigation and Common Foundation.
New users of (and IT staff responsible for supporting) JDE EnterpriseOne Manufacturing, including:
Planners/Buyers, Business Analysts, CFOs, Controllers, Operations Managers, Auditors, or anyone else requiring a detailed understanding of costing of manufactured items in JD Edwards.

The instructor is a Six Sigma/Black Belt trained organized Leader, Project Manager, Trainer Extraordinaire, and Sr. Consultant. He has over two decades working with ERP systems. His experience includes supporting all levels of management specifically in the areas of Manufacturing, Materials Management, Sales & Marketing, and Quality at multiple sites worldwide including several FDA regulated (cGMP) companies.
